Rivkah

Tattoo Artist

I am inspired by the power of the natural world. Whether observing the ocean or atmosphere, mountains or desert, my whole life I find myself drawing. Every flower and leaf has a personality, every animal an expression and beauty that captivates me. I journeyed from drawing, to painting, printmaking, ceramics, and eventually to tattooing in 2019. I love being a part of a timeless tradition to transform people into their true expressions of themselves, sometimes using soft fine lines and sometimes choosing bold traditional styles, to match the energy of my client.

Creating a safe environment for my client to enjoy during this process is not only helpful, it is essential for infusing good energy into the tattoo. I first learned the traditional stick and poke method of tattooing in Seattle WA, before finishing an apprenticeship in Bend OR, and I have been a tattoo artist full time ever since. Tattooing San Diego CA at Axiom for the last two years has been an incredible way to meet new people who appreciate nature, safety, and art like I do.
